careers
We hire in small numbers, on purpose. Every associate who joins Crownstone Advocates is paired from day one with a senior lawyer whose own qualification sits in the legal system the associate did not train in — a Malta-qualified associate learning alongside a Dubai Legal Affairs Department-qualified partner, and the reverse. It is slower than throwing new hires straight onto files, and we think it produces lawyers who are actually dangerous in both systems rather than merely competent in one.
If that sounds like the kind of training you would rather have than avoid, read on. If it sounds like more structure than you want this early in your career, we are probably not the right fit, and that is a genuinely useful thing to know before either of us spends time on an application.
why join us
where we hire
We do not run a standing job board with specific vacancy dates, because our hiring is need-driven rather than a constant pipeline. The practice areas below are where we most consistently look for qualified lawyers across both offices — get in touch even if nothing is open right now, since we would rather meet a strong candidate early than lose them to timing.
process
Email your CV and a short note on which practice area interests you to careers@crownstoneadvocates.com.
A conversation with the partner leading the relevant business team, not a generic HR screen.
If it's a fit, you start paired with a lawyer trained in the system you were not, from your very first file.
