A cookie is a small piece of data a website can store in your browser. This page explains, honestly and specifically, what this website actually stores in your browser today — which is very little.

What We Actually Use

This website does not set any tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies. We do not run Google Analytics, Meta/Facebook Pixel, or any similar service. The only thing stored in your browser is a single local storage entry that remembers you have seen and dismissed the cookie notice banner, so it doesn't reappear on every page. This is not a cookie in the technical sense, is never sent to our server, and is not used to track or identify you in any way.

Rate-Limiting Is Not Cookie-Based

Our contact and newsletter forms are protected against spam using a server-side rate limit, described in our Privacy Policy. This works by briefly storing a hashed version of your IP address on our server — it does not involve placing any cookie or file in your browser.

Third-Party Content

The map on our Contact page is provided by OpenFreeMap, a free open-source mapping service, rather than Google Maps. It does not require an account or API key and, to our knowledge, does not set tracking cookies. If we ever change map or embed providers in a way that introduces cookies, we will update this page first.

If This Changes

If we introduce analytics, live chat, advertising, or any other tool that sets cookies in the future, we will update this policy to describe exactly what is added and why, and the cookie notice banner on this site will ask for your consent again before any new non-essential cookie is set.

Controlling Cookies Yourself

Because this site does not currently set cookies, there is nothing to opt out of. If you would like to clear the one local storage entry described above, you can do so through your browser's site settings or developer tools at any time, and the cookie notice will simply reappear on your next visit.
